Meet the team behind our mission to help homeless people in Peterborough
Help4Homeless was founded by Tom, a 17-year-old Peterborough resident who wanted to make a real difference in his community.
"I noticed a man sleeping rough near a bridge and thought — what can I actually do? Help4Homeless is my answer. It starts with one pack, one person, one act of care."
Tom's vision proves that age is no barrier to creating meaningful change. His leadership and dedication have inspired a community-wide response to homelessness in Peterborough.
Help4Homeless is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters from across Peterborough. While Tom founded the initiative, we rely on community members who give their time, skills, and resources to keep our work going.
Local residents who help organize pack distributions and community outreach
People who manage our live chat, social media, and donor communications
Volunteers who staff donation collection points around Peterborough
Local experts who help us connect people with appropriate support services
We're not a large organization with layers of management. We're a community group where everyone who helps is making a direct impact.
Our team is entirely based in and around Peterborough, ensuring we understand local needs and can respond quickly.
Tom and our core team are always reachable via email and live chat. We believe in being open and approachable.
Everyone involved is focused on our core mission: getting wellbeing packs to people who need them.
We're always looking for passionate people who want to help make a difference in Peterborough. Whether you can volunteer regularly or occasionally, your help matters.
